Love is

Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. In philosophical context, love is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection. In some religious contexts, love is not just a virtue, but the basis for all being, as in the Roman Catholic phrase, "God is love". Love may also be described as actions towards others (or oneself) based on compassion. Or as actions towards others based on affection.

Showing you how much I feel is not easy to do
I want to do more than just say I love you
maybe to the movies,or a romantic walk on the beach
but anywhere we go, I know your love is never out of reach

its hard not to smile every time I see your face
and the memory of us hugging I just cant erase
and when the day comes when you are sad and you want to cry
my sunny day goes dim and the color gray fills the sky

when we are together, there is nothing I would rather do
than to hold you close in my arms, then sit and think of you
even though we have our arguments and the end is hard to find
I am never mad at you, because at the end, you will still be mine

and when I look into your eyes and we have our first kiss
that thought in my mind will also be hard to dismiss
and after all is said and done, I hope you feel the same way too
because I wrote this poem just to say more than I love you

I'm surprised by the joy
Deluged by opulence love brings
As this journey goes on
I start to believe I'm the king.

Let's hold our feelings to stay
Arouse the flame of desire
We will craft the art of love
Against all odds, until we retire.

So seal the fate in love's meeting
Paint yourself in crimson of passion
Bed of roses, a thousand kisses
May love roll in infinite fashion.
